Only if the email address is correct, you will receive an email from mapeer.

In order to confirm your password, please go to this page and click “Forgot Password”.
Then, enter possible email address and click send button.
You will receive “Guide of Password Reset” mail.

The reasons below are considered.

* The email address you have entered may be wrong.
In this case, please go through the procedure from the beginning once more.
To mapeer registration page

* By the spam mail deletion function of the mail software, there is also a possibility
that the register verification mail has been deleted.
In this case, please check the setting of your mail software and contact us from here.
When you contact us, please do not forget telling us the email address that you have
entered at registration.

・ I can not receive register completion email from mapeer.

The reasons below are considered.

* Your registration may not be completed.
In this case, please go through the procedure from the beginning once more.
To mapeer registration page

・To correct position

Use the finger tool to correct position.
However, the only point marker is movable.

・To correct color or thickness of the line

You can modify color or thickness of the line for line markers, polygon markers and circle markers.
Select the marker on the map and choose “modifying style” in the words balloon.

・To correct the shape

You can correct the shape for line markers, polygon markers and circle markers.
Select the marker on the map and choose “modifying shape” in the words balloon.

・Line Marker Tool

To draw route such as track and boundary line and to tie the point markers.
If you draw a line, you can also measure approximate distance of the line on the map.

You can not draw a line marker inside the area marker (polygon marker and circle marker).
Please adjust the size and position of the area marker before you draw a line marker.

・Polygon Marker Tool

To show wide scope on the map.
After you drew up the polygon marker, you can also to modify style such as size and color.
You can also measure the area you enclosed.

You can not draw new apex inside the area marker (polygon marker and circle marker).
Please adjust the size and position of the area marker before you draw another area marker.

・Circle Marker Tool

To draw concentric circles on the map.
After you drew up the concentric circles, you can also to modify style such as size and color.
You can also measure the area you enclosed.

You can not draw new apex inside the area marker (polygon marker and circle marker).
Please adjust the size and position of the area marker before you draw another area marker.

３、Undo Tool

On the midst when the line is compiled with the marker other than the point marker,
it can reset on the basis of operation.
While you are drawing a line, polygon or circle, you can undo if you make a mistake.

４、Right Click Menu（context menu) 　(For Mac, click while pushing the Ctrl key.)

・Move to the Home Position of this map

You can move to the home position of the map instantaneously.

・Set as Home Position of this map

You can reset the home position of the map.
Only the author of the map has authority to do this.

・Bookmark this area

You can register the position of the map as bookmark area.
It can configure your favorite name in the bookmark.
If you bookmark plural areas, it helps you to move to the area of the map instantaneously.

In order to use mapeer comfortable for everyone, we draw up “The manner for using mapeer”.
We ask your cooperation by all means.

■ Posting Comments

・ Avoid using vulgar language, for the reader to feel uncomfortable.・ Avoid absolutely to post other people’s personal information (email address, name, address, etc.).

・ Deliberately speak of other’s username is prohibited.

・ Avoid posting the contents of mental abuse or faultfinding of others.

・ Refrain to post information that has nothing to do with the contents.

・ Avoid multiple posting.

・ Please let us or the author of the map know quickly if multiple posts happen.

・ Posting tags or scripts is prohibited.

・ When you point out the wrong information, as well as point out the correct information to the user.

・ Avoid multiple post (cross-post) If you ask a question to the others.

・ When you have to inform many users, post it after apologizing the impoliteness of the multiple post.

・ Private advertising, affiliate and promotional activities are prohibited act in mapeer.

■ Creating a New Map

・ Name and explain for others to clearly know the contents of the map.・ In order to warm up mapmaking among participants, we recommend you to show cooperativeness by using Note.

・ If there is an inappropriate entry in comment or Note, please handle it properly.

■ Creating a New Marker

・ Check the contents(such as images and location information) very carefully before posting.・ Confirm if there is already the marker which has same information with search before posting.

・ If there is the marker which has same information, it is good idea to import the marker to your map.

■ Editing Marker Information

・ When you edit marker information, check the accuracy of the content before posting.・ Video will not be able to play if the video file is deleted in the video site, so if you discover it, please remove
the link of the video quickly.

■ Importing Markers

・ Confirm if you already have the same marker on your map before importing.・ When you import large quantities of markers to participating map, please discuss the author and other participants in advance.

■Deleting Markers

・ Deleting markers without discussion or permission of the other participants makes them confused very much.
Please discuss with the author or the participants on Note in advance.

■Using Note

・ Confirm if there is the same theme from past entry before posting.・ Please make the title or theme simple.
Avoid the title or theme which contents are not understood.

・ If you ask a question, please write it briefly for the partner to answer easily and to understand what is happening.

・Note is the place to discuss about editorial directionality of the map, so avoid posting the contents of mental abuse
or faultfinding of others.

・ Please tell the author of the map quickly from Note or let us know if multiple posts happen.

■ If manner violation is found in mapeer

・ If you find a user who seriously violates this manner, please consult with the author of the map or us.

・ Let’s not try to warn directly. It is possible that other problems occur by warnning.

■The behavior which is prohibited in Terms of Use

No matter what please do not do prohibition behavior below .

(1) Publishing or disclosing or sending to others via mapeer that those which violate the law or those which is possible.
(Infringement of right of the third party, damage of reputation, infringement of privacy, aspersions, slander and threat,
the obscenity vulgarity, and so on)

(2) Behavior which harms the minority.

(3) Behavior which opposes to public order and morals.

(4) Disguising your name or impersonating the others

(5) Hiding the origin of the content which is transmitted via the service of mapeer or reorganizing mapeer content such as header
and so on, in order to disguise.

(6) With respect to law, uploading or transmitting the contents which have not possessed right.

(7) Uploading or transmitting the advertisement for commerce, the contents for advertisement as purpose or
inducement as purpose other than the expedient that mapeer specifies and explicitly accepts.

(8) Uploading or transmitting computer virus, computer code, files and contents that were designed
to disturb, to destroy and to restrict the software of the computer, function of the hardware and the communication equipment.

(9) Behavior which exerts the bad influence to the other users operation.

(10) Behavior which disturbs or confuses the servers or the network which mapeer is connected and which does not follow
the stipulation for working condition of network and operating procedures.

(11) Behavior which does the harassment for the third party regardless of the circumstance of method.

(12) Behavior which collects, accumulates or publishes the private information of the third party.

(13) Using mapeer in commercial purpose without the acceptance by the advance document of mapeer.

Registration Page

（1） Register your email address and click send button. We will send you a confirmation email.

（2） Access to the URL which is indicated in the confirmation email and fill out the required information in the
registration form.
※ User name is only for mapeer use.
Once you set your user name at registration, you can not change it.

（3） Set your “Homeground”.
Homeground is the area that you often use.

（4） We send you the register completion mail.
Then, mapeer registration is completed.

・Open maps and markers that you have created will not be deleted.
・Marker information and comments that you have posted will not be deleted.
・ Even if you register the same email address, the past data will not be reconstructed.
・You can not use the same user name for the second time.
・All information you have registered will be deleted except emai address.
・Your emai address will be also deleted in certain fixed period.
Meantime, we manage your emai address according to our privacy policy but we will not send you an email.
・Please acknowledge that you may have an email from mapeer if the emaildelivery process is active even after
completing unsubscribe from mapeer.

How to delete mapeer membership

Please login and click “Delete” button from mapeer menu.
If you advance according to procedure, you can delete mapeer membership.
